A Birthday Wrap-Up

Know what happens when you get sick on your birthday? You get two parties. It's been a little bit hectic around here lately, what with all the puking, but we finally got it all together...and I got to celebrate two weekends in a row.

This was my cake. I'm a hammer and screwdriver man so those are my favorite parts. For your reference, I did not really eat any.

For party #2, this was the posse.

If we learned anything it was that Grady should probably not grow facial hair and dye it these colors. Oh wait, that's cake.

Party #1 was also a smashing success, except for I made at least half the people there sick. Word is that Grandma Cheri did not get sick though, which is good. Dad, however, may never recover (he's kind of pathetic).

Mom and Dad gave me this on my birthday, which now seems like ages ago. That, incidentally, was the last time I touched this.

It's My Birthday!

Today I am as old as I've ever been, which is 1. Because it is my birthday. Mom, Dad and Grady all got me presents and I had a party at my babysitter. Of course, everyday is a party with me. See you Saturday if you're coming to my official bash.

Because This Demands To Be Posted Separately

This may be our record-breaking fourth post today, but some things just deserve their own entry.

and now, a dinner conversation starter by Grady...

"Mommy tell me everything you know about paper cuts."

A Lazy Easter Sunday

Us boys want to wish everybody a happy Easter. We had a super fun day and hope you did too.

There is no better way to wake up than to go down stairs to see presents. The Easter Bunny really came through for us this year.

See those crumbs there? I loved my snack bar treats so much that I tried to eat every single one of those crumbs.

For most people, you look at this picture and say..."wow, what great looking green grass"...you are absolutely right. Dad is magical with the yard.

No, we weren't playing twister. But I probably would love that game.

On Saturday Dad had to go work for a while so the rest of us colored Easter Eggs.

Give me enough time and I will figure out a way to get those eggs onto this high chair.

Please, don't be embarrassed by my muscles. This is just my preferred egg-dying uniform. Hey, what's that in Colin's hand? Oh, weird, a hammer.

Shhhhhhh, don't tell anybody, but we had 3 updates today!

Scouting Birthday Locations

Somebody's turning 1 soon! Yesterday we headed to the park to scout out a party location.

When we got there I immediately needed to fuel up. You just never know when you might run into a tiger in the jungle.

Adventure is my middle name.

Come to my party and you too could climb on this ladder.

Mommy got to thinking she doesn't have many pictures of her with her boys. This one turned out pretty good.

How embarrassing for Grady that he wore the same jacket that I did.

Oh yeah, Grady loves the park too.

One cool thing about the park we're looking at having the party is that there is a nice little nature path right next to it.

Grady found a stick. Actually he found about 3,467 sticks.

Photo by Grady. If he could find some better subjects he could make a lot of money as a photographer.

Wheeeeeeeeeee!

The Pancake Breakfast

Last weekend we went to the pancake breakfast at Mom's school. They called it the Spring Fling...but we were mostly interested in the pancakes.

Big Brother put a hurtin on some pancakes. And look at that excellent form with the fork.

I did some pancake damage too, but I use a hammer. Because I always have a hammer.

After breakfast we checked out the book fair.

As you may have noticed in the above pic of me wolfing the pancakes, I brought my own money to buy the books. It was 2-for-1 at the book fair so I got a steal.

Meanwhile, I pretty much just relaxed with my hammer. Thumbs up dude.

Spring means baseball. Looks like a strike to me!

I can't talk (or eat popcorn). But if I could I would say let me out of this thing so I can play Mom!!

No really, I love my hammer.

A Day With The Ladies

Today was pretty awesome. Mom picked me and my friend Keely up from school and she came to my house to play. We had huge fun.

As if coming over to play with me wasn't enough, the main attraction was Ms. Audrey and Ms. Becca. Me and Keely love Ms. Audrey. She used to be our teacher before she took a different job. But obviously she misses us. We love Ms. Becca too but we see her every day.

I've had April 3rd marked on my calendar for awhile. It pretty much couldn't get here soon enough.

I taught Keely how to play my computer game.

See that snowball I'm packing? That was meant for Dad.

This poor little guy stood at the door and watched big brother. It may have been the happiest moment ever when he got to take his first sled ride.

Next year we might need a bigger sled. Of course, the way it's going around here, maybe it will just snow all summer too.

Let's see that spring sledding in action.

Seriously, it's supposed to snow again this weekend. We deserve better.

Meet Pantry Man. Always there to put away the groceries. We spared you the 2 1/2 minute video.

Quite a range of emotions here don't you think?

We'll let this speak for itself. Please note this is the bathroom door.
