Our 50th Update

This is our 50th update and I'll be 300 days old July 5th. It's hard to believe it's already been that long. Feel free to start shopping for my birthday.

So many things have happened the last few weeks including my first trip to the lake. I had a lot of fun taking my first boat ride. Actually I slept for most of it, but that was fun.

As a guy gets older his head gets bigger and you need a new hat. I got a green one.

Our second trip to the ballpark was a Royals' win over the Pirates. It was a great clash of the worst two teams in baseball, and t-shirt night! We're all looking forward to going to the Cardinal game Friday when they play the Royals.

Another wild new thing is taking a bath in the tub without my inflatable duck. I'm sure I'll be showering in no time.

One fun thing to do in the bathtub is make your hair look like Alfalfa. Go ahead try it, you know you want to.

Every day I check the mail and usually it's all just junk.

I like toys. Remember: birthday coming soon.

Here I am tickling the ivories with Grandma Ginny. I'll have CDs available soon. No, I won't, that was a joke. See I'm not really that good. Because I'm a baby.

Sleeping in the car is something I recommend. And why not be as comfortable as you can?

A Trip To The Kansas City Zoo

Monday, Dad took off work and we took a family outing to the zoo. As you can see I was ready for fun.

Peacocks are funny birds. Just don't get too close.

And this would be the peacock that got me so excited.

I was amazed at the size of the elephants.

Walking around the zoo can be tiring. Luckily there are nice places like this to take a breather.

Just two guys hanging out in the grass at the zoo.

This is a stork. You know, where babies come from.

It's not every day that I get to hang out with Mom, Dad and some giraffes.

Riding the tram is the coolest, especially on Mom's lap.

As you might expect, I was conked out at the end of the day.

At Least I've Got Grandma

Guess what I did? I got a real haircut. This is me before.

And another before shot.

And here is me after. The chair was no big deal for me since I'm practically all grown up and everything.

I went to see Dad afterward at his office so I could show off a little.

You would think that with my new haircut I would have impressed this girl.

I did go in for a kiss but she puked when I planted it on her. I hope that is not a sign!

At least I've always got Grandma to kiss on.

Swimming is more fun anyway.

And of course I've always got my kitchen obstacle course.

Have I mentioned I also am in to standing these days? I know you're impressed. Stay tuned for more excitement tomorrow from our family fieldtrip on Monday. I'll give you a hint, it's spelled z-o-o.

Nine Months Old

Dad tried to take some nine month old pictures but I was too busy army crawling around the house. On a side note, if any of you are considering eating jarred meat, I wouldn't recommend that (don't tell Mom).

Oceans Of Fun, The Home Version

Check out the sweet new pool. Mom's out of school and summer is here as far as I'm concerned.

Quite simply, I love this pool.

No really, I love it. If you can't find me this summer, you might check by the pool.

You probably thought I just sat and soaked. Nope, I'm a kicker.

This was taken at Sunday's breakfast with hair done by Mommy.

After swimming, Mom went to the store and Dad gave me a bath. We went for a different look. Cool, huh?

We like to call this the Popeye.

As much as I love these two teeth, I really wish some of their buddies would hurry up and get here.

No better way to cap off another Sunday like sitting in a box. Yes, I know, I look grown up.
