Christmas Oh-Nine Was Divine (sort of)

Christmas this year got off to an explosive start with Colin vomiting all over creation (not pictured).

Right off the bat we were excited. On Christmas Eve we got to open presents from Mom and Dad.

Not surprisingly, this little money thief was a big fan of this cash register.

After all the excitement of opening gifts it was back to puking reality. Always keep a phone close in case you need to call for help.

Eventually it all catches up with you and you just have to pass out. Dad's belly is even softer than my bed!

Christmas Eve also means preparing for the arrival of Santa. We kicked it up a notch this year by putting reindeer food on the roof. Where would you have put it? They've got to eat don't they?

And of course Santa got this.

We were supposed to already be out of town when it did this outside. The next morning when we did leave, Dad the genius got us stuck in the driveway.

Didn't we do this yesterday? Yes Colin, but today these are from Santa.

One thing that I know is that I don't want to be a grown up. If you look on that fireplace, Santa didn't even put anything in Mom and Dad's stockings. I guess they are bad.

I am good though, and so is french toast with syrup and some Christmas stocking juice.

Once it was time to go we really had to pack the car tight. You can imagine what it was like coming home!

Great Grandma's house was our first stop. We were a little late but still excited to be there.

How about me sipping my juice in a big boy chair?

Of course you know we like to tickle the ivories. Great Grandma is a magician on the keys.

On to Grandma Cheri and Grandpa Danny's house. We didn't get there until after 8 o'clock and then went ahead and opened our gifts because we had missed the party. Seems at least one of us was losing our steam.

All the cousins came over to see us the next day. What a team we are.

Lauren did so good in that team photo that she gets another one.

Grandma Cheri + Me + pretzel = win.

We should also mention that we had a delightful time with our other Grandma and Grandpa but didn't really come away with any pics. Ah well, next time.

When we got home there was one bundred snow still in the driveway. Before we could even pull in the big boys had to shovel.

After that it was lights out, not even enough time to make it to the bed.

Monkey, pillow, gloves, good night.

Uncle Scott & I had a good time playing with you at Grandma and Grandpa's. You had a lot of fun Christmases and I think Santa loved coming to your house with those delicious cookies you left! Yummmy!
